Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc. is a Latino based fraternity, which encompasses and values all cultures. We are composed of diverse men who are committed to all aspects of campus and community life. Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc was established in 1988 at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. We currently have twenty four chapters in California, Colorado and Nevada with our latest addition being the University of California at Irvine.

This growth can be attributed to the combined effort of ALL our Brothers including, National Board Members, Alumni, Undergraduates and Administrators/Faculty of who all believe firmly in NAK's philosophy. Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc. honors its traditions, which are designed to achieve our three goals: ACADEMIC excellence and academic support among our brotherhood, retention of CULTURE through campus and community service projects and strengthening and maintaining the bond of BROTHERHOOD among one another. Our philosophy is best summarize by our motto:

How do I Join?
Easy… Just drop by our information tables, ask us questions, and pick up a list of event that will be hosting through out rush week. Attend any or all of the events with the purpose of you getting to know us and us getting to know you. You may find the list of events via our website, flyers through out campus, and/or at our information table.

Does it cost anything to be a member?
No. We are one of the only fraternities that does not charge monetary dues to be considered as an active member of our brotherhood. We pay for events through active fundraising with food sales, parties, car washes, and other events.
